The Lemon Shark

The Lemon Shark averages between 8 and 10 feet long. The long back is yellow hence the name. On the other side is an off-white belly. The Lemons teeth are designed to catch little slippery fish around the mangroves, which is a high portion of the shark?s diet. The sharks teeth when young an entire set is lost one every 7-8 days. The teeth are located in rows and are replaced whenever needed if dulled or broken off.
The diet of a Lemon Shark is mainly fish including other sharks, but the main course is mullet, ladyfish or catfish. When it goes into deeper water jacks and stingrays are some of the shark?s favorites, but they also feed
